Vegan Roast and Successful Dairy-Free Yorkshire Puddings

I am very lucky that one of my friends who lives close by was happy to take on the challenge of cooking a vegan roast for 5 people. I am even luckier that he is an excellent cook!

We didn't need dairy at all - the proof, it seems, is in the (Yorkshire) puddings! They were DELICIOUS.

Vegan Yorkshire Puddings (The Vegan Holy Grail!)

Vegan Yorkshire Puddings

"follow a normal recipe and swap the milk for soy milk and for the eggs you can use 1 tsp of baking powder and one teaspoon of white vinegar for each egg"

Edit: After a recent, even more successful roast here is an improved recipe.

  1. Ahh, it was sooo good – I loved the parcels and the beetroot particularly. Need to look into making more things with beetroot! In other news, I tried the no moo melty today to make pizza - and I reckon it's really close to real cheese! Def my favourite of the fake cheeses so far. Looking forward to trying that banger soon, too. If it was possible, veganism seems to have made me love food even more...

    1. I know so good! I had the 'schnitzel' yesterday - and I LOVED it! Was very tasty. I will definitely be ordering more, such a good idea to do a taster pack as I wouldn't have ever ordered half the stuff.
